You’re getting there, one way or another

One of the most satisfying goals a person can achieve is changing themselves into the version they always dreamed of being but in a very unintentional way.

Like the universe blessed them with a completely revamped perspective and lifestyle, one that wasn’t even considered from the beginning.

The scene is set by a thought, written, spoken, or sacredly kept inside the mind, and then led by the conscious or unconscious decisions that drive the person toward their desired outcome. What’s between the start of the journey and actually completing the last checkpoint for achieving the goal is a journey that most of the time doesn’t end as fast as we would wish.

Time delays can be frustrating, and the modern world has a way of only rewarding the one that gets there first, not the one who puts in the most effort for the cause. And that’s completely fine because we’re not there only for the outcome.

The way we show up is by making the decisions that give us the opportunities to make more progress. And biologically speaking, whether we make the right or wrong call, we are still learning. At least our brain does.

So, in all of these pursuits for either external or internal desires and needs, we also get the opportunity to update our core beliefs, create new perspectives, and write a different narrative about our story.

That’s why it’s so easy to notice mistakes when you’re halfway through any process you might be going through.

Of course you’re finally making sense of the choices you made a long time ago, but all of your decisions have got you closer to that “AHA!” moment.

And it’s not only that you spot the mistakes you’ve made, but you understand the difference between who you were when you made them and who you are when you realized them.

And that’s a lovely way to understand how much you’ve grown, and how far you’ve come. Mistake by mistake. Lesson by lesson.

May you walk the trail that fully helps you uncover your purpose, and enjoy the process of soul searching.
