“Work!” Probably The Best Advice In The World
I am now a college drop-out trying to find a job in the creative field. Full of ideas and motivation, I try my best to build the mindset of a successful college drop-out.
And I can truly tell you, from the point of view of an ex-computer science student that was always passionate about visual arts, that nothing beats hard work.
“Work!” — probably the best advice in the world
It’s been almost 4 years since I got into photography and almost 2 since I got accepted in one of the best Computer Science Colleges into my country. I have been interested in 2 different fields that require a specific way of thinking, and most importantly, different kinds of problems.
But Computer Science proved to be a lot more math than I imagined. It was so interesting in some moments. But extremely less attractive in others.
If you’re not truly passionate about computer science, the only way you can graduate and get a diploma is hard work. That’s the only way.
When I realized there’s no point in continuing to study and work for a future I don’t want to live in, I decided to stop. And so far I’m really happy I did.
