It’s all just pottery

You have to stop looking at crafts you don’t have material for.
Use your clay to create your pottery
without thinking about what a metal would be
like in the same hands that soft shapes are being built.
Stretch your layers to fulfill the higher framework
of the mind you have to see,
a reality that is past your sketch.

Leftovers and uncanny colors which
you used to make this mess up,
the potential is dressed up,
as a process that hides the beauty
that is only meant to be seen
on the inside and you can feel it.

The outside is wrinkly,
asymmetrical yet
you’re controlling it.

Is it really wrong to have some aspects
that you can only trust when it belongs
to this process that is this complex,
you have to see how great it gets,
in shapes and colors and contrasts,
the soft hand’s shapes,
you’re building yourself,
with layers of consciousness from many years
you have left to embrace.
You’re creating yourself.
